Letter From the Editor
Hi! I'm Veronica Huerta, a film and video editor born and raised in Queens, NYC. My passion lies in uncovering and sharing untold stories through the art of editing.
I graduated from Emerson College with a BA in Media Arts Production and a minor in Psychoanalysis as Cultural Criticism. During my time at Emerson, I was truly able to get my start and access opportunities that were previously out of reach.
I gained hands-on experience editing and assisting on over twenty productions, laying the foundation for internships with the lovely companies MUBI, VAGRANTS, and Fancy Film. Each opportunity helped refine my focus on post-production, taking me from NYC to Boston to Los Angeles through Emerson’s LA program.
Editing has been a strong pillar in my life since my early days creating fan edits. Over the past seven years, Premiere Pro and After Effects (and more recently AVID and DaVinci) have become second nature. It has certainly been a long road since then but...
